COMPENSATION AND FRINGE BENEFITS PLAN: MAINTENANCE AND CHANGE
The College will compensate all employees according to a uniform and equitable plan.
The Board of Trustees annually will review the compensation and the fringe benefits plan for all full and part-time employees. After considering recommendations from the President and the professional and paraprofessional staff, the Board may change the compensation and/or the fringe benefits plan.

COMPENSATION AND FRINGE BENEFITS PLAN: MAINTENANCE AND CHANGE
The Human Resources office will maintain uniform and equitable compensation and fringe benefit plans for professionals and paraprofessional employees.
For the Professional Staff:
President, Vice Presidents, and Associate Vice Presidents
Individuals occupying these positions will not be compensated from the Instructional
and Professional Salary Schedule. Rather, the salaries of Vice Presidents and Associate
Vice Presidents shall be set by the Board of Trustees, upon the recommendation of
the College President, and the College President’s salary shall be set by the Board
of Trustees. These individuals are not eligible for Horizontal and/or Rank Advancement.
Other Professional Staff
All other contract employees shall be compensated from the Instructional and Professional
Salary Schedule. Additionally, individuals may receive “off-schedule” payments for
serving as division chair or for completing special duties.
The salary schedule will be divided into four columns, each with a minimum and a maximum rate of pay.
Division Chairs will be paid at a fixed rate per semester.
For the Paraprofessional Staff
This plan will have a salary schedule with a minimum and maximum rate of pay for each
class of positions. Additionally, individuals may receive “off schedule” payments
for completing special duties.
