PRESIDENT EVALUATION
The Board shall conduct an evaluation of the College President annually. Such evaluation shall comply with any requirements set forth in the College President’s contract of employment, as well as this policy.
Presidential Evaluation Process
To assist the Board in evaluating progress on goals, the College President will prepare a report, using quantitative and qualitative data as appropriate. Each Board member will be asked to complete a survey rating progress on goals and performance, and the results will be summarized and provided as basis for the formal evaluation discussion.
The evaluation process shall follow this established timeline:
- April: The College President will submit a progress report on the annual goals for Board discussion and approval.
- May: The Board conducts the annual evaluation of the College President and a review of the College President’s employment contract.
- June: The College President submits proposed annual goals for Board discussion and approval.
- November: A mid-year review is conducted.
Ongoing reports will be provided to support the Board in monitoring progress and institutional effectiveness.
