Pendulum

In the Swing of Things!

Western Wyoming Community College, in the center of campus, features a Foucault pendulum in the solarium. The pendulum, named for French scientist Jean Bernard Deon Foucault, shows that the earth---not the pendulum itself---rotates. The pendulum was part of an award-winning architectural design of an expansion in April 1988.
