Different Workout Styles That Fit Your Lifestyle

Being a college student staying active can sometimes be hard due to classes, assignments, studying for tests, and so on. However, being able to find the right type of workout style for your lifestyle can help keep you staying fit!
High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)
This fitness training is beneficial to those students who only have 20- 30 minutes of their day to fit in some exercise. These are short periods of intense exercise and is then followed by rest periods. This can be done by running, or bodyweight exercises. This is an excellent way to burn calories quickly and improve overall fitness!
Cardio
This type of exercise includes running, swimming, or even group fitness classes. Cardio is one of the most important types of exercise for many reasons, but the main one being it can help improve mood, reduce stress and help boost energy levels which is essentially important for college students. If you want a great challenge, the Run With Sandy – Together for a Cure is the first semester of May.
Outdoor Activities
Outdoor Workouts can be beneficial believe it or not! Going for a hike, biking, rock climbing and even going for a walk/jog around campus. Being outdoors doesn’t only provide the physical benefits but it is also so refreshing and allows you to be able to grab fresh air while connecting with nature. Living in Wyoming can be hard sometimes especially for those who come from places with warm weather year-round. Try to get out and do an outdoor workout when you are feeling down!
