Western Wyoming Community College has been selected by the John P. Ellbogen Foundation board of directors to support adult learners with the newly created Ellbogen Opportunity Scholarship: All Students Successful. Scholarships Award amounts vary, up to $1,500 per semester and may be awarded for up to a maximum of two academic years. For full details on this scholarship opportunity, visit the John P. Eligibility Requirements*:
- Must enroll in courses starting in the Fall of 2021
- Must be 24 years of age or older
- Must have demonstrated Wyoming residency for no less than three years, immediately preceding the application
- Must have completed a FAFSA for the academic year attending and have an unmet financial need
- Must maintain satisfactory academic progress in the program of a cumulative 2.5 GPA
*Preference will also be given to those who have not already earned an associate or higher degree. This is a last in scholarship.
There are 3 Steps to apply for the Ellbogen Opportunity Scholarship:
- Apply for Admission to Western
- File and complete the FAFSA
- Complete the Ellbogen Opportunity Scholarship application
