Tourism Ambassador

The Sweetwater County Tourism Ambassador (CTA) program, which is administered locally by Sweetwater County Travel & Tourism, is part of an industry recognized international certification program. It serves to increase tourism by inspiring front-line employees and volunteers to turn every visitor encounter into a positive experience. When visitors have a positive experience, they are more likely to return and share their experiences with others. Everyone benefits—the visitors, the industry, the local economy, and most importantly, the front-line worker.

This certification is not just for people in the tourism industry, however. We teach great customer service skills along with local history that makes it a valuable training for anyone living in Sweetwater County!

Western Wyoming Community College is proud to partner with Sweetwater County Travel & Tourism for this program since completing the training is a great way to build contacts and enhance knowledge, while reinforcing pride and passion for your community.
