Online Learning Support
Western's academic advisors offer Zoom or telephone appointments for online students.
7 days a week, with the exception of Christmas break, students can call or email Western’s Canvas Help between 8am and 9pm to receive help with the following:
- All things Canvas
- Login issues
- MyWestern username and passwords
Western’s Wellbeing and Accessibility office provides counseling services for our online students who cannot come to campus.
Western’s online students have access to all the Hay Library has to offer, extensive online library databases and upon request, books can be mailed to you from the on-campus library.
Western online students have two options for tutoring and writing services:
- Western’s Peer Tutor Center and Writing Center has tutors in all areas of study and will make Zoom appointments with our distance students.
- Western also subscribes to NetTutor, which offers online tutoring 24/7, 365 days a year.
