Full-Time Faculty
Clemencia C. Caporale grew up on the east coast in Connecticut and New Jersey, where she enjoyed hiking, skiing, canoeing, and sailing. She received B.S. in Kinesiology: Outdoor Education from The University of New Hampshire and M.S. degrees in Environmental Education with an emphasis on sustainability from, The Audubon Expedition Institute part of Lesley University. Upon completing the graduate program, she moved to Leadville, Colorado to work at Colorado Mountain College. At Colorado Mountain College, she gained valuable experience running an immersion semester in the southwest teaching outdoor recreation. Caporale has worked in many industries in the outdoor field including: wilderness therapy guide, national park service interpreter, raft guide, ski patroller, rental shop manager, climbing wall manager, and outdoor educator. Caporale is an avid long-distance hiker, who has completed the Appalachian Trail and many other long distance hikes.

Western Wyoming is jam packed with world class outdoor adventure opportunities! My name is Eric Urlacher and I am a lifelong mover. I teach physical education/health, coach cross country, and Wilderness Navigation at Western Wyoming Community College. Effective navigation is a critical skill to backpacking, hiking, hunting, fishing, trail running, mountain biking, and all your favorite outdoor hobbies!
