Bruce Anderson is Associate Professor of Political Science. He received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in 1991 and 1992, respectively from Utah State University in Logan, Utah, where he double majored in Political Science and Spanish. Anderson has done additional graduate-level studies from 1997 to 2002 at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where he focused on comparative politics, international relations and Latin American studies. Previously taught at Miami University and at St. Cloud State University in central Minnesota. He has been an instructor at Western Wyoming Community College since fall semester 2003.
Chris Esing is an American historian who received his Masters and Ph.D from the University of Kentucky. His main area of research is on Modernization and Development from the Civil War to World War II with a specific focus on the American South and Florida. Chris has taught at the college level for over 20 years and in a variety of settings, including at Chengde Medical School, Indiana University Southeast, Midway College, and Austin Peay State University.
Dr. James Gustafson holds a BA, MA, and PhD in Spanish. He has completed 24 credits towards an MSW (Masters in Social Work) degree. He joined the Spanish faculty at Western in 2014, and has been the advisor to the Social Work program since 2019.
