The Mathematics Department at Western Wyoming Community College not only provides students with the opportunity to enter the college level courses after completing required prerequisites within 1-2 semesters, but also introduces students to the beautiful world of mathematical studies and prepare them for further studies in STEM fields.

 

We are fortunate to be able to offer a full 2-year set of higher level courses in mathematics that includes: Discrete Math, Linear Algebra, Calculus III and Differential Equations. Students learn both abstract theories as well as solid applications. They will develop problem solving skills unique to the study of mathematics and similar skills that carry over to attacking problems in other fields, even those that are seemingly unrelated.
