Pickleball Tournament

Paddles laying on a pickleball court

Pickleball was invented in 1965 as a children's backyard game in the United States, on Bainbridge Island in Washington state. In 2022, pickleball was named the official state sport of Washington. And now it is catching on in Wyoming---when the weather permits!

Up for the challenge? Join Western's first annual pickleball tournament. Entry fees are $50 per team of two. Total teams available to compete are 25. All ages welcome. First prize team receives $200 and a trophy. Second place team receives $100 and third place team $50. All proceeds go towards the cost of the tournament and any additional dollars will be donated to Western Wyoming College Foundation for scholarships.
