Western Wyoming Community College participates in the Worlds Largest Swimming Lesson every summer.

This Summer 2023 we had over 192 swimmers participate in Water Safety Day.

Swimmers/participants learn how to be safe in and around the water.  They practice reaching assists with an arm, leg, towel, and rescue tube.  They learn how to properly wear a life jacket and swim on their front, back and jump in with a jacket on.  The older groups learn how to perform cpr on a person with no signs of life.  The Instructors make this day fun and engaging so the students enjoy learning about water safety.
