Developing your talents and skills will stretch your world, and in turn, can make you more successful in your career. With more than 80 degrees and programs at Western, students have many options. Many popular programs can help improve your effectiveness in your chosen career.

Many programs are offered through distance learning and online, allowing students to continue their employment while pursuing a degree or certificate. Distance learning includes centers in 12 centers in towns throughout Southwestern Wyoming. Some financial aid may be available through the student’s place of employment in the form of grants.

Those who attend classes on campus can take advantage of the Children’s Center at Western. It is easier to attend classes with peace of mind, knowing children are being cared for right on campus. Western was the first college in Wyoming to establish a child care center on campus, so that student-parents could better succeed in their academic pursuits. The center is open Monday through Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. during fall and spring semesters and Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., during the summer semester.
