Western has provided me with valuable opportunities as I pursue an AS in Business Information Systems as well as various certificates. I first started my job as the Marketing Assistant for additional income. I quickly realized that my time spent in the Marketing Department was about more than money and ultimately made the difficult choice to quit my other jobs. I’m lucky that my job now doubles as an internship for my social-media certificate, especially as I gain invaluable real-world experience to pair with my education. Kim Rembacz, the marketing staff, and Associate Professors Leesa Lee and Jennifer Allen have helped guide me during my time at Western.
