Elementary & Early Childhood Education

Earning an early childhood or elementary education degree will prepare you for a rewarding career teaching young children. Early childhood and elementary educators play a critical role in their students’ lives; they lay the foundation for a lifetime love of learning.

Early childhood education qualifies teachers to work with children from birth to eight or nine years old, which is traditionally about third grade. Elementary education qualifies teachers to work with students from kindergarten through sixth grade.
