Western Wyoming Community College is located in Rock Springs, a town of 23,196 in the high desert in the middle portion of the Rocky Mountains. In recent years, Western has been nationally recognized for its picturesque campus, quality online programs, and military-friendly atmosphere.
The College has modern facilities and serves as the cultural hub for Sweetwater County. Located in southwestern, Wyoming, Rock Springs is a great place with close proximity to abundant activities, with many focused on the great outdoors, such as wildlife viewing, kayaking, fossil hunting, rock climbing, ATVing, rodeo, mountain biking, motor sports and BMX, fishing, water sports, skiing, snowshoeing, hunting, golf, hiking, camping, and more.
Rock Springs is a few hours' drive south of Yellowstone National Park and the Grand Tetons, and about three hours northeast of Salt Lake City, Utah.
