The Mustangs enter their second year under head coach Mike Swenson assisted by Jordan Giles and Courtney Patterson. The 2018-2019 team includes the following sophomores:
  • Anna Radenkova 6'2" Combo (Bulgaria) - A versatile player who has the ability to score inside and out. Lead the team last season in rebounds.
  • Nenna Lindstrom 5'4" Shooting Guard (Finland) - A athletic player who lead the Region IX in scoring last season. Has the ability to shoot the three from deep. Very exciting to watch.
  • Francesca Facchini 5'7" Shooting Guard (Italy) - She has the potential to be one of the best shooters in Region IX this year and has become a more versatile player to create for herself and others.
  • Mallory Seymour 5'6" Forward (Wyoming) - Our team captain and a forward who defends, rebounds and gets into the lane with a good mid-range game.
  • Kenzi Reed 5'5" Shooting Guard (Wyoming) - She has become a more versatile player to create for herself. Her ability to shoot the three will add to our style.
  • Kayla Gunderson 6'2" Post (California) - She has a huge upside and will cause problems both offensively and defensively.
  • Reilly Walsh 5'8" Point Guard (Washington) - A pure point guard with great vision and can get to the basket or shoot the 3 from deep. Defensively she causes a lot of problems and is the kind of player who makes everyone around her better.

Seven incoming freshman make up the rest of the Mustang squad, including:
  • Jalen Davis 5'4" Point Guard (Colorado) - A jet quick point guard who can also play off the ball with the ability to create her own shot or create shots for others.
  • Sarye Thomas 5'6" Point Guard (Wyoming) - Has great vision and can get to the basket or shoot the 3. Defensively causes problems with her quick hands.
  • Brittney Hatch 6'1" Forward (Utah) - Can score facing up or with her back to the basket. Her size and ability to get on the boards adds to this year's team.
  • Taylor Jenkins 5'10" Forward (Wyoming) - Has a good mid-range game. She moves well and is skilled defensively she causes a lot of problems.
  • Jayah Bean 5'9" Forward (Utah) - Will cause problems with her overall athleticism both offensively and defensively.
  • Jaylin Lawson 5'9" Forward (Nevada) - Moves well, scores around the basket and changes shots on the defensive end.
  • Rachel Walsh 5'6" Shooting Guard (Washington) - A student of the game and can get to the basket or shoot the 3. Defensively will causes problems.

The Mustangs come into the 2018-2019 season with a good combination of experience and talent. "It has been a building process here from last season being plagued with injury," said Coach Swenson. "We added a talented freshmen class with our first recruiting class. We went into the off season knowing we needed to address our point guard position and we did just that. This group has a chance to be special by the end of the year and I'm excited to get to work."
