First Year Head Coach Steven Soza and First-Year Assistants, Kameron Pearce and Jake Harris, are excited about this
2018-2019 season. Included in this year's roster is Sophomore Carter Rosette from Rock Springs. Driven by hard work and
determination, this team is striving to be Mustang strong and be involved in community events.
Coach Mike Swenson begins his second year as the Head Coach of the Mustangs. He is joined by First-Year Assistant Coaches,
Jordan Giles and Courtney Patterson, who both played high school basketball for Rock Springs and college basketball in
Region IX. The team is working hard like all Mustang teams to be "Good People, Good Students and Good Athletes," in that
Coach Art Castillo is starting his tenth year as Head Coach of the Mustangs. Last year the Mustangs finished fourth at
Nationals after qualifying eight wrestlers for the tournament. They won the Rocky Mountain District Championships and also
finished second in the country academically. Five wrestlers earned All-American status, with two finishing as National
Champions. Castillo is joined by Assistant Coaches Rick Yoak, Bill Hodges, Dillon Karajanis and Shawn Seppala.
First-Year Head Coach Fredann Soto takes over the Mustang Volleyball program after serving the program for two years as an
assistant coach. She is joined by Assistant Coaches Dani Torpey and Jake Harris, in their first years with the program.
They as with all Mustang teams will be very competitive, while striving to achieve an overall 3.0+ Team GPA, which is a
goal for all Mustang Athletic teams.
Coach Jeff Atkinson has been coaching Mustang Men's Soccer for fourteen years, counting this season. He is joined by
first-year Assistant Roger Carroll. Local players for this year's squad include freshmen Nick Kautzman, Jaymin Carroll,
Kalen Kester and Kingdom Wanjoku, and sophomores Delaney Seilbach, Kade Moeller, and Josh Rawson.
Coach Jeff Atkinson is in his fourth year coaching the Women's Soccer team. His assistant coach, Brady Baldwin, has been
with the program for six years. Last year's team joined the Men's team at the District Semi-finals while boasting the most
wins by a Women's Soccer team in school history. This team and all others look to serve as role models for future Mustangs
and make it a priority to serve at events in the community.
All home contests for regular season Mustang Athletics events are free, and all home basketball, volleyball, and
wrestling contests are live streamed.
